The Lone Ranger TV Show 70th Anniversary

Kudos to Rob Word who held a fantastic event in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the premiere of "The Lone Ranger" on ABC (9/15/49), and the late Clayton Moore's birthday on 9/14/14, at the Autry Museum of the American West (one of my favorite museums). On hand were DAWN MOORE, Clayton Moore's daughter; MARION ROSS ("Happy Days"), who starred in an episode of THE LONE RANGER series on TV; and BEVERLY WASHBURN, who played the little girl in the excellent, color feature film, THE LONE RANGER AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD! A number of western movie and TV luminaries were in the audience including JOHNNY CRAWFORD ("The Rifleman") and DARBY HINTON ("Daniel Boone"). Rob's excellent interviews will be posted on his YouTube channel series, "A Word on Westerns."
